Pipeline

Records stream in here once the van moves.

  • Crash

The accelerometer saw an impact above 2.5 g.

  • Speeding near the school

Above 30 km/h in the school zone. The zone comes from the enrichment.

  • Speeding

Above the road's posted limit; critical when 20 km/h over. The limit comes from the enrichment, 90 without it. Returns an AlertResult instead of true.

  • Harsh braking

    Deceleration beyond 0.4 g.

  • Harsh acceleration

    Acceleration beyond 0.3 g.

  • Harsh cornering

    0.45 g sideways above 15 km/h.

  • Moving with the ignition off

The van moves while the ignition is off (towing, theft).

No code editing here; rules can be switched on and off. On a real install the same functions are written in the console's editor.

Mission · Customer round

Leave the depot and visit the three marked supermarkets in four minutes: stop in front, wait 5 seconds. Harsh braking, speeding and the school zone cost points.

nodela keeps the score: goals come from the processors' events, fines from alerts. Switch a rule off and its fine goes with it.

Outputs

No outputs yet. Alerts and the processors' events stream in here.

The van's tracker sends a record every second: position, speed, accelerometer. Each record goes through nodela's stages: ingress, enrichment, rules, processors. Switch them on and off, read their code, and watch the output change. Brake hard, speed through the school zone, drive into a building.

Nothing leaves your browser on this page: ingress, enrichment, rules and processors run inside the page, with the code shown. On a real install the same record goes from MQTT to Redpanda and on to the rule and processor jobs; the outputs land in the alert table, the processor topics and the device state.
